Details Of Harappan City:

•  Discovered in 1968, the site apart by its unique characteristics.
• like its water management system, multi-layered defensive mechanisms, extensive use of stone in construction and special burial structures.
• it is a one of the most remarkable and well-preserved urban settlements in South Asia dating..
• A range of artefacts of copper, shell, stone, jewellery, terracotta and ivory found.
• The walled city consist of fortified bailey & Ceremonial Ground & a Lower Town.
• Archaeologist Bisht says that one finds the origin of the Buddhist Stupas in memorials in Dholavira.
