Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the final result (UPSC Civil Services result 2020) for Civil Services Main Examination 2020 on Friday, 24 September 2021. Shubham Kumar(Civil Engineer) has topped the Civil Services Main Exam 2020. After this Jagriti Awasthi (Electrical Engineering) has secured second position and Ankita Jain () has secured third position. A total of 761 candidates have qualified in this exam.

Shubham has studied from IIT Bombay. Shubham got 290 rank in All India in the year 2019 examination. Topper Shubham had appeared in Anthropology as an optional subject. After doing B.Tech in Civil Engineering from IIT Bombay, Shubham took the UPSC exam. On the other hand, Jagriti Awasthi has obtained B.E degree in Electrical Engineering from MANIT Bhopal.
Jagriti had chosen sociology as an optional subject. Let us inform that the Civil Services Main Examination was conducted in January 2021. The interview of successful candidates was completed in August-September 2021. The names of those who have been selected after the interview have been released on the website. This year 180 seats are reserved for IAS, 36 for IFS and 200 for IPS. Apart from this, 302 posts are reserved in Central Service Group A, 118 posts in Group B Service.
