- World largest bangaluru based edtech company Byjus acquire Epic at deals with $500 Million.
About Epic Company:
- It is US based edtech company which work in a digital reading platform for under-12 children.
- Epic, founded by Suren Markosian and Kevin Donahue, has 50 million users.
- Epic had around 20 million users in 2019.
- This is its second-biggest buyout after brick-and-mortar coaching network Aakash Institute, which it snapped up earlier this year for nearly $1 billion.
- After Byjus Acquire Epic, it will generate $300 million in this financial year.
Byjus owner statement:
